Project considerations

• Due to approval requirements, even small projects may take about twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months, start to finish. From the date of Work Request submission to project completion, this includes design, building code reviews, scheduling of work, and a small number of days in the schedule for potential unforeseen delays.
• While each project’s scope will drive the timeline, being planful and submitting project requests as early as possible facilitates Project Management’s ability to accommodate your work within the requested timeline. 

Project requirements

• All projects need to be estimated, approved, and funded prior to the start of any work.
• To get started, complete and submit a Work Request (select “Chargeable Services”). Though work requests are submitted through Facilities Services' portal, these work requests will be routed to Project Management. An experienced team member will contact you to review the plan and necessary steps involved. Together, we'll work toward getting your project started!
